IN THE FIELD / APPLICATION CONTEXT

Target the residue before it bonds harder.

A localized exterior treatment for cool shaded panels, front bumpers and mirror housings affected by bug splatter, sap and organic road film.

TARGETED EXTERIOR PRE-TREATMENT

Soften stubborn organic residue before the contact wash.

Tree Sap & Bug Remover is a low-odor, water-carried exterior cleaning concept for bug splatter, tree sap and adhesive-like organic road residue on compatible automotive paint, front bumpers and mirror housings. Its multi-solvent and surfactant architecture is designed to wet mixed contamination, hold treatment on the affected area for a short supervised dwell, and help the residue release with less aggressive wiping.

Current formula target: controlled cling, mixed-residue softening and a low-foam rinse profile at pH 10.2-10.8, pending finished-product compatibility testing.

SOFTEN BEFORE CONTACT

A controlled wipe begins with less force.

Dried insect residue and sap can hold tightly to an exterior panel. Scrubbing immediately may drag hard particles over the finish. This system is designed as a local pre-treatment: pre-rinse loose grit, apply to a cool shaded panel, allow only the final validated dwell, then use gentle agitation if needed. The residue should be softened before a towel or wash mitt is asked to move it.

01

Pre-rinse first

Remove loose dust and grit before placing chemistry on the panel.

02

Controlled cling

The viscosity target keeps the treatment local during supervised use.

03

Gentle removal

Softening is intended to reduce the need for aggressive mechanical action.

COOL PANEL / COMPLETE RINSE

Targeted power belongs inside a disciplined workflow.

The blend combines glycol-ether and ester-type solvency, a low-odor terpene component, multiple surfactant routes, chelation and dispersing support. That broad architecture is why temperature, dwell and rinsing matter. Heat or drying can concentrate an alkaline cleaner on the finish. The product must remain wet, be supervised and be rinsed completely before the vehicle proceeds to the normal wash stage.

01

Multi-solvent route

Targets mixed sap, insect and adhesive-like organic contamination.

02

Low-foam wetting

Supports contact and rinse without turning the pre-treatment into wash soap.

03

Compatibility gate

Wax, coating, PPF, wrap and trim response must be validated.

FORMULA LOGIC

Wet the deposit, soften its binder and carry it toward the rinse.

Bug residue and sap are not one kind of soil. The formula therefore uses several cleaning routes rather than depending on one strong solvent or one high-foam surfactant.

01

01 / Penetrate

The water-carried solvent blend is designed to enter dried organic film and soften adhesive-like portions of the deposit.

DPM, DPnB, ester-type solvent and low-odor terpene components provide complementary solvency in the development formula.
02

02 / Detach

Anionic, nonionic, amphoteric and amine-oxide surfactant support targets wetting and release from the compatible exterior surface.

Chelation and dispersing support are included to help manage mixed road contamination during removal.
03

03 / Rinse

A low-foam profile is designed to let softened contamination leave the panel during a complete water rinse.

Corrosion inhibition, preservation, pH, cling and packaging stability remain part of pilot qualification.

LOCALIZED EXTERIOR CARE

Treat the affected zone, not the whole vehicle by default.

The concept is aimed at contamination that benefits from a dedicated pre-treatment before a normal wash.

01

Front bumper and grille surrounds

Soften insect splatter on compatible cool exterior finishes before gentle removal and washing.

02

Mirror caps and leading edges

Address concentrated road-facing residue without spraying the complete cabin-side body panel.

03

Localized tree sap spots

Treat small affected areas under supervision, then rinse rather than repeatedly dry-rubbing the deposit.

04

Pre-wash detailing service

Add a visible contamination-triage step before contact washing in professional workflows.

EXTERIOR CHEMISTRY WITH LIMITS

Removing residue cannot reverse damage already underneath it.

Organic contamination may stain, etch or alter protection if neglected. The cleaner targets what remains on the surface; it does not promise to restore damaged clear coat.

What this system is

  • A localized bug, sap and organic-road-residue pre-treatment concept
  • Designed with mixed solvency, surfactants and controlled cling
  • Used only on cool shaded panels with a complete rinse

What this system is not

  • A correction product for etching, staining or clear-coat failure
  • A leave-on treatment or product that may dry on the vehicle
  • Automatically compatible with fresh paint, wraps, PPF, wax or coatings

CONTROLLED APPLICATION / STEP BY STEP

A better result begins with the right sequence.

Follow the full method, including preparation, controlled placement and the final finish check.

  1. 01

    Move into shade

Work only on a cool panel out of direct sun. Do not apply to a warm vehicle.

  2. 02

    Pre-rinse the area

Remove loose grit and wet the affected zone before applying the treatment.

  3. 03

    Spot test

Confirm compatibility with paint, trim and any wax, coating, PPF or wrap present.

  4. 04

    Apply locally

Cover the residue with a controlled amount and keep the product inside the affected zone.

  5. 05

    Supervise the dwell

Allow only the short time stated on the final label. Agitate gently if needed and never let it dry.

  6. 06

    Rinse and wash

Rinse completely, inspect the result, then continue with the normal vehicle wash.

Repeat a controlled treatment instead of increasing pressure or extending dwell beyond the validated direction.

Use boundaryDo not allow the product to dry. Validate compatibility with waxes, coatings, plastics and fresh paint before use.

PERFORMANCE BRIEF / RESULT PROFILE

Mixed organic residue needs more than one cleaning route.

FORMULATION DISCIPLINE

Selected materials. Controlled claims.

MOOCOW develops around quality-focused raw-material sourcing and supplier technical data, then validates the finished formula, packaging compatibility and real application before locking commercial claims.

Supplier references may includeBYK / Clariant / Nouryon / Eastman / Evonik / SAN NOPCO / Troy / Wanhua ChemicalNames identify possible raw-material sources only and do not imply endorsement of the finished product.

PRODUCT QUESTIONS / CLEAR ANSWERS

Clear answers before the first order.

Is this only for insects?

It is being developed for bug splatter, tree sap and related organic road residue on compatible exterior surfaces.

How long should it dwell?

Use only the short supervised dwell stated on the final validated label and never allow it to dry.

Will it remove etching from paint?

No. Cleaning residue cannot reverse paint damage or staining already present.

Can it be used over wax or a coating?

Spot test first. Pilot validation will define compatible protection systems and any effect on them.

Why is rinsing important?

Complete rinsing removes softened residue and the active cleaning system from the panel.

MOOCOW / DISTRIBUTION READY CONVERSATION

A specialist SKU with a strong before-wash demonstration.

For detailing distributors and private-label programs, this concept sits clearly between general wash soap and aggressive solvent remover. Partner training will emphasize contamination identification, cool-panel use, controlled dwell, complete rinse and protection-system testing. Final claims will follow panel, packaging and stability evidence rather than generic clear-coat-safe language.
